KUALA LUMPUR, April 3 (Reuters) - Malaysian state oil company Petronas has found two ruptures in a leaking gas pipeline near the Thai-Myanmar border, the company said on Thursday.

The pipeline carries gas to Thailand from Myanmar's Yetagun offshore field, which is operated by Petronas.

"The ruptures have resulted in a supply disruption of about 460 million cubic feet per day of gas from the Yetagun field, offshore Myanmar, to Thailand," it said in a statement.

"Petronas is taking all the necessary efforts to expedite repair works on the ruptured sections of the pipeline," it added.
