YANGON, Myanmar Myanmar's pro-democracy opposition party is calling for voters to cast their ballots against the military-backed draft constitution in an upcoming referendum.
Aung San Suu Kyi's party said Wednesday that people should go to the polls "without fail" to mark the "no" choice in a vote scheduled for next month.
The party said the proposed constitution is undemocratic. Other critics of the draft charter say it is aimed at perpetuating military rule.
