Footage shot by Reuters Television in Burma shows survivors of cyclone Nargis scrambling for private food donations.
The footage shows a moving truck in Rangoon throwing food distributed by Burmese non-profit organisation The Democratic Voice of Burma (DVB).
The truck was reportedly unable to stop and deliver the food in the conventional manner, as private donations are banned by Burma's military junta.
According to the DVB, donors have been able to bribe army officials to allow them to distribute the aid by throwing it from pickups.
The truck drove several kilometres on the main road of cyclone-hit Kunchangon while people ran after it hoping to receive some of the food.
Around two million survivors are in dire need of supplies after Nargis, which killed at least 130-thousand people, struck Burma more than two weeks ago.
