Traffic diversion notified

VELLORE: Owners of vehicles coming from the south of Vellore and proceeding along Officers’ Line towards the fort and other areas north of Vellore have been asked by the Collector to take a diversion at TTD Information Centre and proceed towards Fort via Nethaji Stadium and Fort Round Road from Thursday onwards to facilitate the construction of a culvert in front of Burma Bazaar.

In a release, the Collector said that in the wake of the desilting of the drainage canal in Burma Bazaar, a culvert is to be built in front the Burma Bazaar to facilitate smooth flow of stormwater.

The traffic diversion would be in force for a period of 30 days from April 10.
